Hard disk cabinet/RAID card/SCSI card

Hard disk cabinet

GP5MS621A: Up to two can be connected

Operating System has to be installed on an internal hard disk.

RAID card (GP5U141/GP5-144)

Up to two Hard disk cabinets can be connected with one RAID card.

Internal disks and Hard disk cabinets (in array configuration) cannot be connected to the same

RAID card.

RAID card (GP5U142/GP5-143)

Only for use with internal devices.

Only one RAID card can be used per a server.

SCSI card (GP5U121/GP5-125/GP5-126)

Internal and external devices cannot be connected to the same SCSI card.

Maximum number of daisy chain connection allowed :

(1) Up to four external devices (but not Hard disk cabinets) can be connected by daisy chain.

(2)Only one Hard disk cabinet can be connected. (Daisy chain connection is not available)

NOTES
