LEANING THE
ISCHARGE
Dirty Discharge Brushes can cause multiple feeding and jamming.
Keeping the Discharge Brushes clean will extend the life of the Pick
Roller Unit and the Brake Roller. Clean the brushes when they are
covered in paper dust or toner.
•
Lift the Lever at the right to
open the Upper Transport
Unit.
•
Remove the Pick Roller Unit.
•
Remove the Brake Roller.
•
Wipe off the dust from the
two Discharge Brushes.
•
Reinstall the Brake Roller
and Pick Roller Unit.
•
Close the Upper Transport
Unit.
