9 V-CHIP
● Press V-CHIP button to enter Parental guide menu and the listed options are displayed on the
V-CHIP
screen. Then you must enter the Password option to start V-CHIP function (The initial password is
6568. After the initial password is entered, the new password can be inputted and input again for
confirmation). The selected option is indicated by the arrow and appears in red color, the unselected
option appears in green color.

TV RATING and MPAA RATING menu operation instruction and block condition description:
To make some grade received program blocked, the two conditions should be satisfied: 1, set the item "Block" of
Parental guide menu as "On"; 2, set the relevant grade in the menu of TV RATING or MPAA RATING as "B", the
screen will be automatically set as blue background and mute (Block should be set as On), there will also appear OSD
indication that it's blocked for what grade.

● Select option of TV RATING or MPAA RATING in Parental guide menu and input the correct password as
requirement to enter the relevant menu. Now press CH+/CH- button to select the option of different grade setting (the
arrow indicating grade is the selected one), after getting the required grade, press TV MENU button to change the
setting.
● OSD " B " means that the grade is set as block, OSD " U " means that it's unblocked grade. When the low grade is
set as " B " status, any higher grade will be set as " B " status automatically; when the high grade is set as status " U ",
the lower grade will automatically be set as " U " grade.
● In the menu of TV RATING or MPAA RATING, VOL+ / VOL- button is used to convert between them.
● The grade setting of TV and Movie is as per USA standard.
After entering Parental guide menu press CH+/CH- button to get the expected
option and press VOL+ or VOL-
