Congratulations on the purchase of your new Hot Water Bottle. Used with care and
responsibility a Hot Water Bottle can be a convenient and safe way to keep warm or indeed
to soothe and cool down something like a sprained ankle. Please take the time to read this
leaflet and keep for future reference.

Safety Precautions

Please read all the following information before using this product.
• ALWAYS check the Hot Water Bottle, including the Stopper for wear or damage prior to use.
• NOT TO BE USED by or for children under the age of 8 years.
NEVER use hot water bottles where babies or young children may come into contact with
them.
• NOT to be used by persons who are insensitive to heat.
• NEVER use a Hot Water Bottle as a cushion and sit on it.
• NEVER use a Hot water Bottle in a bed fitted with an Electric Blanket.
• NEVER lean on, roll on, press against, or lie on a hot water bottle.
• NEVER apply undue pressure to the Hot Water Bottle.
• PREVENT contact with oil or grease as this can cause damage to the Bottle.
• PREVENT contact with hot surfaces.

Before Use

Carefully unpack your Hot Water Bottle. Avoid the use of sharp knives etc. which might
inadvertently damage the Bottle.
We recommend that before use you fill your Hot water Bottle with cold water from the tap,
replace the stopper and then shake vigorously to check for any leaks or transit damage.
Using your Hot Water Bottle
1. Remove the Stopper and place to one side.
2. NEVER use boiling water to fill your bottle.
3. DO NOT fill using water from your domestic hot water system this can significantly shorten
the life of your bottle.
4. Hot water Bottles are intended for partial filling only. Fill your Bottle to no more than 2/3
capacity (600ml) or less.
