CIRCULATION

The optimum circulation cycle depends on the following factors: number of fish, aquatic plants, sunlight, desired water clarity.

In addition, coordination of other filtration components is also required.

Optimal pond circulation

This refers to the frequency with which the entire pond content passes through the filter.

Guideline values:

• Koi/Fish pond: 1 circulation in 3 hours up to 2 circulations per hour

• Pond with plants: In the case of a pond without fish, the degree of circulation is not so important. The plants serve here as a

replacement for the filter system.

APPLICATION

• These filters are designed for cleaning ornamental and fish ponds. When used correctly, the pond water is effectively cleaned.

• The filter materials ensure mechanical filtration of the water, while the filter bacteria ensure biological filtration.
