Only use the enclosed tool (refer to Fig. 1a) for opening the screw cap (Fig. 1, No. 1). To avoid
overwinding and associated leaks, closing must be done by hand only. In the case of solid piping, it
is essential to ensure that the connections are not live.
The Helix Max are equipped with a transparent window (Fig. 1, No. 11). This allows to control the function of
the bulbs – there is a blue light when the UV bulbs are on.
Depending on the installed pump and wat er flow (refer to the table), the connection pieces can be cut to the
best size (metal saw).
The second connection (No. 14) of the Helix Max can be rotated for 360°. This allows an easy adaptation to the
mounting conditions. In any case, the units have to be set up in a way that the outlet is at the highest point to
avoid air to be trapped in the unit.
