Removing the keyboard

Follow the procedure in

Remove the battery.

Flip the computer and open the display to access the keyboard.

To remove the keyboard:
a
Using a plastic scribe, release the keyboard from the edges [1] and lift the keyboard from the computer [2].
b Release the latch and disconnect the keyboard cables from the connectors on the system board [3, 4].
Installing the keyboard

Connect the keyboard cables to the connectors on the system board.

Place the keyboard on the computer and press along all the sides until it clicks in place.

Install the battery.

To remove the hard drive assembly:

Remove the screws that secure the hard drive assembly to the computer [1].
