OdorFree charcoal filters
For recirculation mode the OdorFree
charcoal filters must be used in
addition to the baffle filters. The
OdorFree charcoal filters are designed
to absorb cooking odors.
The OdorFree charcoal filters are
installed behind the baffle filters.
A recirculation kit is required to use the
ventilation system in air recirculation
mode. The kit contains one OdorFree
charcoal filter for each baffle filter as
well as housings that hold the OdorFree
charcoal filters. Install the filters
according to the instructions included
with the kit.
Replacement OdorFree charcoal
filters can be ordered from Miele.
Replacing the OdorFree charcoal
filters
^ To install or replace the OdorFree
charcoal filters, the baffle filters must
first be removed as described in the
previous section.
^ Remove the filters from the
packaging.
Cleaning and Care
^ Open the filter housing.
^ Insert the OdorFree charcoal filter.
^ Repeat these steps for each filter.
^ Replace the baffle filters.
(Be sure the arrow on the back of the
filter faces upwards.)
Replace the OdorFree charcoal filters
every 6 months or when it is no longer
absorbing cooking odors.
^ Used filters may be discarded with
the household waste.
