^ Fold the protective shield at the top.
^ Remove the adhesive backing from
the shield.
^ Stick the shield to the chimney
extension so that it is smooth and
flush with the bottom.

chimney.
^ Remove the backing from the
adhesive strips on the protective
shield.
^ Attach the protective shield to the
front of the chimney so that it
protrudes slightly below the bottom
edge.
