Safety regulations prevent the fitting
of this cooker hood over a solid fuel
stove.
The minimum safe distance be-
tween the top of the cooker / hob
and the bottom of the cooker hood
should be at least:
– 55 cm above electric cookers /
hobs
– 65 cm above gas cookers / hobs.
A distance of 65 cm may be preferable
to give more working space.
– Mark a line on the ceiling centrally
above the hob.
– Make a hole in the ceiling for the ex-
haust hose at the required position.
