Electrical connection

Electrical connection U.K.

All electrical work should be carried out

only by a suitably qualified and compe-

tent person, in strict accordance with

national and local safety regulations.

Ensure power is not supplied to the

appliance while installation work is

being carried out.

The appliance is supplied with a mains

cable (approx. 1.8 m long) for connec-

tion either to a 230-240V single phase

supply or to a 415 V 3-phase + N sup-

ply. The voltage, rated load and fuse

rating are given on the data plate.

Please ensure these match the house-

hold mains supply.

Connection should be made via a suit-

able isolator which complies with

national and local safety regulations,

and the on/off switch should be easily

accessible for servicing work.

For extra safety it is advisable to install

a residual current device (RCD), with a

trip current of 30 Ma (in accordance

with DIN VDE 0664, DIN VDE 0100 Sec-

tion 739).

When switched off there must be an all-

pole contact gap of 3 mm in the isola-

tor switch (including switch, fuses and

relays acc. to VDE 0660.

Electrical connection

Important

The wires in the mains lead are col-

oured in accordance with the following

code:

Green/yellow = earth

Blue

= neutral

Brown

= live

Electrical connection (IRL)

This tumble dryer is supplied as stand-

ard for connection to a 400 V 3-phase

+ N supply. The rated load is 5.4 kW.

Connection should be made via a suit-

able isolator which complies with na-

tional and local regulations, and the

on/off switch should be easily ac-

cessible for servicing work. For extra

safety it is advisable to install a residual

current device with a trip current of

30 mA.

The voltage, rated load and fuse rating

are given on the data plate. Please en-

sure that these match the site mains

supply.
