Cleaning
Clean the external surfaces of the PD-150 with a mild soap solution. Perform the following
steps:
Note: Do not use alcohol or other strong cleaning solutions to clean the outer surface,
windows or screen of this instrument or damage to these parts may occur.
Note: Do not immerse the PD-150 in liquid or damage to the instrument may occur.
1- Use a soft clean cloth moistened with a mild soap solution and wipe the external surface
of this instrument.
2- If necessary, remove any residual soap solution using a moistened clean soft cloth.
3- Use a clean , dry soft cloth to dry the exterior of the PD-150.

Maintenance

The expected shelf product, based on the availability of spare parts, life has been set at 10
years from the date of manufacture. If the equipment is properly used in accordance with
the instructions in the user's guide, preventing bumps or rough handling and keeping it in
its original case, it will not need servicing nor calibrating in its lifetime.
Procedure
When the unit indicates low voltage by displaying a special icon (
play or the battery is rundown and the unit does not turn on, perform the following steps:
Battery Change
1- Remove the battery lid.
2- Remove the battery and replace it with a new battery.
3- Put the battery lid into its original position.
This is the only maintenance procedure that can be performed by the user on the PD-100.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
PD-150 does not turn on.
Circular Fixation LED does
not stay on.
Data does not change when the
Measurement Slide Buttons or the
Distance Selecting Buttons are
pressed.
Zeros appear on the Digital Display.
If inaccurate measurement is
observed.

SOLUTION
Battery is discharged or missing. Replace
battery.
PD-100 has not been used for 20 seconds.
Press the Measurement Slide Buttons or
the Distance Selecting Buttons.
The Hold Measurement Data Mode is on.
Press the Hold Button again.
The Measurement Slides are out of range.
