3-9. Putting On The Helmet Cooling System

Do not use the equipment
belt or straps as a safety har-
ness.
Place blower assembly against
lower back with hose extending up-
wards. Fasten belt around waist.
Adjust belt so unit rests comfort-
ably against lower back.
Put on helmet and adjust helmet so
helmet fits snugly on head. Tighten
shroud drawstring to establish a
tight seal around head.
