Mount Red Reﬂ ector to Left Seat Stay

Mount the plastic reﬂ ector bracket as high as possible on the trailercycle left seat

stay with the screw provided, and then fasten the reﬂ ector to the plastic bracket

with its mounting screw. Be sure the face of the reﬂ ector is at a 90° angle to the

ground.

Attaching the Safety Flag

Slide the safety ﬂ ag into the bracket which is mounted between the axle nut and the

left dropout.

Installing the Moose Rack

IMPORTANT: This rack includes hardware only for attachment

to bikes with threaded eyelets in the rear dropout. Consult

with Burley before attempting to mount the Moose Rack to a

bike without threaded eyelets in the rear dropout.

IMPORTANT: Use only the ad just able stays provided with

the Moose Rack to attach the rack to the bi cy cle. They are

made of especially heavy stainless steel; sub sti tute rack stay

hard ware can fail and must not be used.

To ensure com pat i bil i ty with 95% of the bi cy cles in use, the Moose Rack comes with

eight rack stays, of which only four are required for one bike. Generally, the longer

stays ﬁ t small er bikes, and the shorter stays ﬁ t larger bikes. Your goal is to position

the top of the rack parallel to the ground within 3°. First, attach the bottom of the

rack to the holes in the bicycle drop outs, setting it so the rack is level. Next, mea sure

the dis tance from the stay mounting hole on the Moose Rack to the bicycle's seat

stay brazeon. If you don't have brazeons or the dis tance to the brazeons is great er

than 9" when the rack is level, use the band clamps.
