INSTRUCTIONS FOR THERMOWELD GROUNDING CONNECTIONS - CABLE TO BUS BAR

CB-15

Place bus bar in the mold with end of the bus bar at the

center of the tap hole. Place cable into mold until end

is butted against the bar. After weld

is complete, open mold. One side will

swing open away from

bus bar. Now slide

mold down

bus bar until

mold is clear

of weld and

then lift mold

up off of bus

bar.

CB-23 & CB-24

Place bus bar in the mold as

shown then butt end of cable

against bus bar.

Place cable into mold and then

butt bus bar against cable.

Place cable and bus bar into mold.

CB-28

Place bus bar in the mold as

shown. Position cable into mold

until the end is even with the

center of the tap hole.

Place lug in mold and butt cable

up against lug under center of

tap hole.
