INSTRUCTIONS FOR THERMOWELD GROUNDING CONNECTIONS - CABLE TO CABLE
CC-14
Place cables into mold. Use
packing material around cable
openings to prevent leakage.
CC-24
Butt tap cable against run cable.
Do not cut run conductor.
CC-31 & CC-33
Place cables into mold as shown. Do
not cut run conductor. Tap conductor
should be inserted into the mold up to
(CC-31) or down to (CC-33) the center
line of the tap hole.

CC-23
Place horizontal cable into mold and close mold with
handle clamps. Place vertical cable into mold and lock
frame. Do not cut conductors. If cables are
under tension, use 38-0330-00 cable
clamp.
CC-25
Butt tap cable against run cable.
Do not cut run conductor.
CC-34
For 350 MCM and larger, cut
and gap front cable 1/4" at the
center of tap hole. Do not cut
cable for heavy duty molds.
