Detaching/attaching the diffusion plate
The diffusion plate on the case is detachable. Remove the diffusion plate
when using the optional PPO-05 Wide Port or when the diffusion plate is
not necessary. To attach the diffusion plate, follow the procedure below.
Detaching

First make sure the case is completely dry. While
gently holding the diffusion plate and standard port,
slowly turn the two buckles on either side of the
standard port by about 110° in the opening direction
(from down to up, in the directions of the arrows).

Keep turning the buckles gently to separate
the diffusion plate and standard port
completely from the case.

Pull the diffusion plate from the standard port
in the direction of the arrow to separate
them.
Attaching

Align the diffusion plate's rear window
with the case's diffusion guides

While fitting the diffusion plate mount
the top panel of the standard port into the port
mount hole
plate, insert the standard port into the case.

Make sure that the diffusion plate is wedged between the front of
the case and the top of the standard port. Then turn the buckles
on either side of the standard port in the direction of the arrows to
secure them. (For details on how to mount the standard port, see
"Detaching/attaching the standard port" on the previous page.)
CAUTION
: • The diffusion plate cannot be used when the PPO-05
is mounted.
