Read the operating instructions carefully before use!
Please retain for future reference�
• Be especially careful when the electric lighter is used by or in the vicinity of
children or people with disabilities and when the electric lighter is left
unattended�
• Do not use the electric lighter if the cable or plug is damaged, or if it has any
defects or has been dropped or damaged� If necessary have the electric lighter
checked or repaired by an authorised service workshop�
• Always unplug the electric lighter when it is not in use�
• Do not use the electric lighter in places where petrol, paint or flammable
liquids are used or stored�
• Only use the electric lighter as described in this manual� All other types of
usage can cause a fire, electric shocks or personal injury�
• This appliance can be used by children aged from eight years and older and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
on how to use the appliance safely and understand the hazards involved�
Children must not play with the appliance� Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be performed by unsupervised children�
• Check that the electric lighter is correctly positioned on a stable and secure
surface�
• Do not place the electric lighter on flammable or explosive surfaces such as
wooden, rubber or glass table tops�
• Keep the power cable away from open flames and hot objects, and do not
place it underneath furniture, carpets or similar�
• Never try to touch, clean or move the heating element before it has cooled�
• The rated current for the electrical socket to which the lighter is connected and
any extension cables used must not be less than 10 A�
• The charcoal container must be made of metal and have a larger area than the
electric lighter's heating element�
• Allow the electric lighter to cool before storing�
• Do not use the electric lighter in rainy or wet conditions�
• Place the electric lighter on the holder when not in use�
