Select the protocol for WAN interface, then click 'Next', to continue with the
configuration.
You can select the encapsulation mode from the drop-down list.
MER : If you select MER as the network protocol, the router obtains an IP address
automatically.
IPoA : If you select IPoA as the network protocol, you cannot use the DHCP
service. You need to enter the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS
as provided by your ISP .
Bridging : If you select Bridging as the network protocol, you must use a third
party Dial-up software or Windows New Connection Wizard to configure the
Internet dial-up access.
PPPoE or PPPoA: If you select PPPoE or PPPoA as the network protocol, then
you must know the username and password provided by your service provider.
