Overview
This document provides updated and/or new information for the 30 Function Hand-Held IR
Transmitter. This information pertains specifically to the CNIRHT-MM Operations Guide,
Doc.
8171, dated 06.01. For the document number and date, refer to the bottom-right corner
of the rear cover of the original guide.
Purpose
This addendum provides information that has been revised to the "Set or Display Transmitter
ID via Keypad Buttons" procedure, which begins on
The first sentence of step 3 of the procedure is currently published as follows:
Instead of pressing and holding ANY button, which can occur inadvertently while replacing
the battery, only the PWR button may be used to establish a "0" key. The sentence is revised
as follows:
