Cisco Headset 531 and 532
The Cisco Headset 531 and 532 can be used as standard headsets on the phones. You plug the headset into
the headset port using the RJ connector.
The Cisco Headset USB Adapter is also available for use on the Cisco IP Phone 8851, 8851NR, 8861, 8865,
and 8865NR. The adapter converts the Cisco Headset 531 and 532 into a USB headset, and it gives you a few
extra features. It provides a convenient way to handle calls, to test your microphone, and to customize your
bass and treble, gain, and sidetone settings.
Phone Firmware Release 12.1(1) and later is required for the headsets to function properly.
