INSTRUCTION MANUAL
COTTON CANDY MACHINE - MODEL: MDAC-16551-701
PLEASE read these instructions carefully before operating this appliance and retain
this manual for future reference .
- This appliance will work only with the voltage informed in the label next to the plug.
-DO NOT CONNECT TO DIRECT CURRENT (D.C.).
- Care should be taken when operating this appliance as HOT SURFACES may cause burns
and rotating parts can hurt.
-Do not leave unit in operation without an attendant.
-When not in use for long period unplug the appliance.
-ENSURE THAT THE POWER SWITCH IS IN OFF POSITION AND POWER CONTROL KNOB IS IN 'MIN'
BEFORE CONNECTING THE POWER CORD!
OPERATION
- Check if the voltage of the power source matches the voltage informed in the equipament's
label.
- Ensure that the aluminum bowl is correctly positioned.
- Fill the turbine with cane sugar (in grains). Do not overfill it.
- Turn ON the motor switch and the turbine will start to rotate.
- Turn the power control knob and, in some seconds it will start to make cotton candy.
- As soon as the cotton candy appears, remove it continually avoiding they accumulate in the
bowl.
- You can stop the production of cotton candy by turning to "MIN" position the power control
knob without stopping the turbine.
- In case of cotton candy accumulate under the turbine, turn off and unplug the appliance. Take
off the bowl and remove the material. Put back the bowl and start operation again.
- Use the appliance until finish the sugar in the turbine. DO NOT LEAVE SUGAR IN THE
TURBINE. It will reduce the lifetime of the heating element. If it happens, leave a damp cloth
on the turbine for about 2 hours (with appliance unpluged), plug it back and start to make
cotton candy.
IT IS NORMAL, GRAINS OF SUGAR TO SPLASH TO OUTSIDE THE APPLIANCE.
PROTECT THE EYES AND KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE APPLIANCE.
NEVER USE TURN ON THE APPLIANCE WITHOUT THE ALUMINUM BOWL.
- TO TURN OFF THE MOTOR, ALLOW AT LEAST 30 SECONDS FROM HEATER TO
COOL BY FIRST TURNING TO "MIN" THE POWER CONTROL KNOB. IT WILL AVOID
THE BURNING OF SUGAR ON THE HOT HEATER SURFACE.
CLEANING PROCEDURE
- Cleaning should be done always after use.
- Empty the turbine by making cotton candy until it ceases. Unplug the power cord, remove
the aluminum bowl and wash it with water. Remove the sugar residues with a brush and a
damp cloth.
- Always keep your appliance clean and ready to use.
- Keep this Instruction Manual next to the appliance for future reference.
