This unit is installed within the Factory Radio which
requires it to be opened by the Installer.
CRUX Interfacing Solutions shall not be held liable for a
vehicle's electronic components in such case, thereby
it is the responsibility of the installer to verify and confirm
vehicle configuration as to product compatibility prior to
installation. Installer shall be responsible as to all liability
insurance to cover any damage that may arise through
installation. Likewise, CRUX's recommendation of an
installation facility shall not constitute any grounds for
responsibility or liability. Notwithstanding any other
provisions of this disclaimer, CRUX's maximum
combined liability shall be limited to the price paid for
the specific product that caused the alleged damages.

Take out screw that is located at the top/rear
of radio.

4 screws hold the disc drive in place . Two on
each side. Unscrew for further disassembly.

Gain access to internals of factory radio by
removing top cover.

Carefully pull ribbon cable from radios main board.
Then, pull the disc drive out of radio.

To unlock the ribbon connection, Lift the brown latch
until it pivots 90°.
Carefully disconnect the display's ribbon cable
from the radio's main board.

This blue ribbon connection will connect to the
original diplay port on the main board.

Proper connection, notice the daughter board's
orientation. IN / OUT labels face up.
Connect interface daughter board in-line, between
the display's ribbon cable and radio's main board.

Inspect that the ribbon connections were properly
inserted.

Bend the radio's cage with pliers. This allows for
Ribbon cable to exit the inside of the radio.

Connect 12V Power, Ground, Can High & Can Low
wires to radio harness.

Adjust the interface display settings through the
OSD menu. See strep 5 on next page.
Pace interface in this location and re-install the
factory radio.
