OPERATION

. Turn the power ON to the SA-V220 and other

components.

When using an LD player, turn on the TV monitor.

2. Connect the microphone(s) to the MIC jack(s).

3. Set the MASTER VOLUME control as desired (e.g. set

to 5-7).

4. Start playback. Adjust the volume level with the

MUSIC control and speaker balance with the

BALANCE control.

5. Speak or sing into the microphone and adjust the

volume level with the MIC volume control.

the SOURCE SELECTOR SENSITIVITY switch on the rear

panel.

Adjustment of the Microphone Echo Volume

An echo effect makes you feel as if you are singing well, just

like when you are humming

in the bathroom. With the

amplifier, the echo can be simultaneously applied to MIC 1,2

and 3. The echo volume can be adjusted with the MIC ECHO

control. MIC 3 can be turned on/off using the switch.

Echo Adjustment

Echo can be adjusted by the following:

REPEAT

Changes the echo cycle to enhance the echo effect. Adjust to

a shorter echo cycle for tunes with a quick tempo. Adjust to

a longer echo cycle for tunes with a slow tempo.

DELAY

Changes the echo intervals to enhance the echo effect.

Adjust the intervals according to the tempo of the tune.

Adjust to the desired echo effect by using the REPEAT and

DELAY controls.
