These jacks serve
as the output jacks whenever
using the
SP-X707
in combination
with a non
Audio-Video
master
amplifier. Connect them to the tape play (PLAY) terminals of
the amplifier using the accessory pin-plug connection cord.
TAPE jacks
Use these jacks to connect a tape deck to your SP-X707.
@) LINE OUT jacks (SURROUND)
The same signals output to the surround speakers are out-
put as line output signats through these jacks. They can be
used to enhance the surround sound-effect connecting them
to the AUX input terminals of a high-powered stereo ampli-
fier and adding surround speakers.
BEFORE CONNECTING
@ SPEAKERS (SURROUND) terminals
Connect these to the speaker systems installed at the rear.
"R' is for the system installed on the right and ''L'' for the
system installed on the left.
Speaker impedance
Use speaker systems with an impedance ranging from 6 to
16 ohms for connection to the SPEAKERS-terminals.
@ Power cord
Connect this to a wall AC outlet or to the electrical outlet of an
amplifier.
Or, if you have combined the unit with a Pioneer Audio-Video
master
amplifier,
connect
to
the
"AC
OUTLETS
SWITCHED".

1. Remove the vinyl covering and twist the wire core.

© After raising the lever, pull gently on the wire and check
that it is connected securely to its terminal.
* Do not allow the wire core or protrude from its terminal

© Use the cords with the red and white pin plugs attached.
* Connect the white plug to the left (L) terminal and the
red plug to the right (R) termina}. Be sure that the plugs
are pushed in as far as they will go.
