the wood to give a perfect parallel cut.
6. OPERATION (See fig6)
Adjust the mitre angle and cutting depth to the
required level and place front of the base plate
on the workpiece (do not allow the blade to touch
the workpiece at this time).
Start the saw, when the saw is at maximum speed
slowly push forward. Hold the saw securely with
both hands.
7. FITTING A NEW BLADE (See fig7, 8 & 9)
NOTE: Remove the mains plug from socket
before carrying out any adjustment or servicing.
1.Using the spanner and allen key provided, undo
the blade securing bolt and washer. (See fig7)
2.Remove the outer flange. (See fig9)
3.Pull the blade guard handle round as far as it will
go and hold it there. Remove the old blade (See
fig8).There is no need to remove the inner flange.
If the inner flange is inadvertently removed this
will need to be re-fitted before fitting new blade.
Fit inner flange with smaller diameter section
facing inwards to saw body. (See fig8 for blade
component fitting order.)
4.Slide a 185mm cutting blade through the hole
in the bottom of the metal baseplate and place
on the central hub on top of the inner flange, you
may need to wiggle the blade a little to achieve
this.
5.Place the outer flange back on the centre of the
blade and place the washer on top of the outer
flange.
6.Screw the blade securing bolt back on using the
spanner and Allen key provided.
7 .Release the blade guard.
Note: Only use the correct diameter blade
(185mm)with a 16mm bore,rated speed
of blade should be higher than rated speed of
machine.
8. RIVING KNIFE ADJUSTMENT (See fig10)
1.The riving knife prevents the blade from being
jammed by the workpiece. It must always be
adjusted when the blade is changed or the correct
setting has been changed.
2.Loosen the hex head screws on the riving knife
with the allen key(not supplied).
