EVALUATE PERFORMANCE
HOW THE XEROX COPYCENTRE, WORKCENTRE AND WORKCENTRE PRO
232/238/245/255/265/275 EXCEED THE PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT
1. The platform/architecture directly impacts performance. The tightly integrated, intelligently
MEETS EXCEEDS
designed 1.4 GHz, 80 GB hard drive, and up to 1,024 MB total device memory, takes the
load off the network and puts it on a more-than-capable device with the ability to handle
duty cycles up to 300,000 pages per month. The SMart architecture was designed for
simultaneous scanning, faxing and printing. The separate subsystems for each document
function – print, copy and fax – enables 5 things to be done concurrently – RIP, receive
(print and fax jobs), program ahead (copy, scan, or fax jobs), queue processing (schedule
jobs for output) and transmit (scan and fax jobs). True multi-tasking - so no time is wasted.
In addition, Xerox MFPs allow for unlimited job programming and scan ahead for copy,
scan, email, and fax jobs.
2. System Performance is dependent upon all functions

working toward maximum levels with minimal impacts.
Print Performance
a. Print Quality up to 1200 x 1200 interpolated dpi
b. Industry standard PDL and Protocol support including
PCL6, PCL5e, Postscript 3 emulation, direct print, TIFF
and PDF.
c. Print features including store print / reprint, delay, sample,
secure print, page level programming, tab printing,
bi-directional print drivers, embedded web server for
remote control/monitor/setup, and job monitoring at
desktop with concurrent processing of jobs.

Look for fully integrated functions that work together seamlessly to create
more value than the sum of their parts.
1. How well does the MFP
volumes of an office/workgroup? Can the device perform
at the same time?
2. What will the
impacts
to my network traffic and performance be?
3. Can I
view jobs
in the queue at the device and also from the desktop
remotely? If so, can I promote and/or delete my jobs in the queue? If there is
a conflict where a required paper stock is missing, or if the paper supply is
depleted from a tray, will jobs
4. Does the device include
digital documents?
