Proper care and regular maintenance is essential to keeping the chair in working condition.

You should regularly check all hardware for looseness or signs of wear, and tighten them, if

necessary. The chair also should be maintained, sanitized and cleaned in accordance with

standardized infection-control and healthcare cleaning protocols for mobile equipment.

• WARNING: Before using the chair, it is important that all users and caregivers are trained

on the proper maintenance, function and use of the chair. The chair should be tested

before each use.

• WARNING: The chair should not be used unless all components are correctly fitted and

adjusted. If you believe a component or part is not functioning properly, you should cease

use of the chair and contact Direct Supply immediately.

• WARNING: Do not use the chair if it shows any signs of deterioration or excessive wear and tear.

• WARNING: The chair should be inspected regularly to ensure all components are properly secured.

Cleaning

Dust the chair regularly with a clean, dry cloth to avoid dust buildup. A damp cloth with

mild soap and water may be used to clean the chair. Wipe off the excess water with a dry

cloth. Metal parts should be wiped completely dry after cleaning. The headrest, seat and

backrest cushion covers are detachable for easy cleaning.
