Function List
Function Name
q Transpose
Determines the pitch of the instrument in semitone increments.
w Tuning
Determines the fine tuning of the pitch of the entire instrument in approx.
0.2Hz increments. The hundreds digit of the setting value is omitted on the
display.
e Duo
Switches the Duo function on/off (page 8).
r Auto Intro/Ending
Switches the Auto Intro/Ending function on/off (page 8).
t Chord Fingering
Determines how to play the chord in Auto Accompaniment range (page 8)
Type
when playing with a Style.
• Smart Chord (Smr): Simply play the root note of a chord, and the appro-
priate chord plays according to the key. For best results, set the "ySmart
Chord Key" below before playing.
• Multi Finger (mLt): This is a way to play the Style by playing all notes of a
chord.
NOTE
• When setting the Fingering Type to Smart Chord, the melody of some Songs may not be

Determines the Key Signature when the Chord Fingering Type is set to
"Smart Chord." For example, if the music score shows 1 flat (b), press the
G3 or F3 key until "FL1" appears on the display.
u Song/Style/Metro-
Determines the Song/Style/Metronome volume.

i Metronome Time
Determines the Metronome beat. For example, when this is set to 4, the

beat is set to 4/4 time and the first beat is accented with a bell sound.
o Auto Power Off
Specifies the time that will elapse before the instrument's power is auto-
matically turned off.
!0 Battery Type
Selects the type of batteries you have installed to this instrument.
!1 Volume Limit
Determines the maximum value of the Master Volume.
!2 Sound Boost
Switches the Sound Boost on/off (page 8).
NOTE
• When the Sound Boost function is on, the sound may become more distorted.
To set the various Functions, press the appropriate key (repeatedly if necessary)
while holding down [SHIFT].
