■ Setting the Mouthpiece

Insert the mouthpiece until it just fits snugly and

is no longer loose in the leadpipe.

Mouthpiece

* NEVER force the mouthpiece into the

leadpipe, or hit it. The mouthpiece may

become stuck in the leadpipe.

Before You Play

■ Tuning the Instrument

Slide the main tuning slide in or out to tune the

instrument. Since temperatures have an effect

on the instrument's pitch, blow some warm air

through the instrument to warm up the instru-

ment before tuning.
