Defreezing
The gun is ideal for speeding up the defreezing of water pipes, but take care
where plastic pipes are concerned and provide protection against heat damage
for paint or wall coverings where necessary.
Drying
Always maintain a minimum distance of 3cm between the end of the nozzle and
workpiece. This prevents the gun from overheating and the thermal overload
from cutting in. Should this occur however, switch OFF the gun, stand it on its base
carefully and allow it to cool down. The thermal switch will cut back in automatically
in due course.
MAINTENANCE
The tool is maintenance free, except to ensure the air vents are kept clean at all
times. If used in a dusty atmosphere, it may be necessary to clean the tool with
compressed air (at low pressure) from time to time.
