BlackBerry Email
You can use the BlackBerry® email simulator to send messages between the
Simulator
BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator and either a messaging application, such as
Microsoft® Outlook®, or POP3 and SMTP servers. You do not require a
BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.
To get the BlackBerry email simulator, download the BlackBerry® JDE Plug-in for
Eclipse™, the BlackBerry Java Development Environment, or the BlackBerry
Email and MDS Services Simulator Package. Visit
www.blackberry.com/developers.
BlackBerry Java samples
You can use the Java samples, included with the BlackBerry JDE Component
Package, to view sample applications that are typically available on a BlackBerry
device. The samples demonstrate how to design and build Java applications for
BlackBerry devices.
The following sample applications include server components. Invoke the run.bat
script in the specified folder to start the server component:
