SAFETY

Electrical safety

Warning! Warning! It is the user's responsibility to check the following:

Check all electrical equipment to ensure that it is in good working order before using it. Inspect

power cords, plugs and all electrical connections for wear and damage.

It is recommended to use a DCR (residual current device) for all electrical products.

If the product is used in a professional activity, it must be maintained in a safe condition and

regularly subjected to a PAT (portable device test).

Electrical safety instructions

It is important that the following information be read and understood.

- Make sure that the insulation of all cables and the unit is in good condition before connecting it

to the power supply.

- Inspect power cables and plugs regularly to ensure that they are not damaged and that all

connections are secure.

- Important: Make sure that the nominal voltage of the unit is suitable for the power supply to be

used and that the plug is equipped with the appropriate fuse (see the nominal value of the fuse in

these instructions).

- Do not pull or carry the unit by the power cable.

- Do not unplug the plug from the socket by the cable. Remove the plug from the socket by

keeping a good grip on the plug.

- Do not use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any defective items are

repaired or replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.

General safety

Warning! Warning! When using this equipment, ensure that health and safety regulations, local

authority regulations and general shop practices are followed.

Keep the kit in good condition. Before each use, check the condition of the tool. If a component

is worn or damaged, replace it immediately. Use only original parts. Unauthorized parts can be

dangerous and void the warranty.

Do not use the kit if bolts are damaged or missing, as this could result in failure and/or personal

injury.

Use in an appropriate work area. Keep the area free of unrelated materials and ensure that there

is adequate lighting.

Warning! Warning! Always wear eye (or face) and hand protection when using the kit.

Remove long clothes, ties, watches, rings and other loose jewellery and tie long hair.

Maintain a correct balance and foundation. Make sure the floor is not slippery, wear non-slip shoes.

Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the work area.

Do not use the kit when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.

Do not use the kit for any purpose other than that for which it was designed.

Familiarize yourself with the application and limitations of this product, as well as the potential

risks specific to the glue gun.
