Set the Date and Time
Your phone is able to sync to the local date, time, and time zone over a mobile network. You
can also manually set the date, time, and time zone for your phone.
1. Go to Settings > General settings > Date & time.
2. Set the date and time automatically or manually.
Enable Use network-provided time to have your phone sync to the local date and time
over its mobile network.
Disable Use network-provided time, and then tap Set date and Set time to manually
set the date and time.
3. Change the time zone.
Enable Use network-provided time zone to have your phone sync to the local time zone
over a mobile network.
Disable Use network-provided time zone, and then tap Select time zone to manually
set the time zone.
4. Change the time format.
Enable Use 24-hour format to have your phone display the time in 24-hour format.
Disable Use 24-hour format to have your phone display the time in 12-hour format.
Set the Language
1. Go to Settings > General settings > Languages & input > Language.
2. Tap the display language that you want to use.
Set the Input Method
You can download a third-party input method and set it as your default input method.
1. Download an input method from an official app store.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to set it as the default input method. Or, go to Settings >
General settings > Languages & input > Virtual keyboard and tap Manage keyboards to
enable the input method you need. Then, tap Current keyboard to select the input method.
Enable App Installation
Before you install apps that you downloaded from unknown sources, perform the following
operations:
1. Go to Settings > General settings > Security & location > Install unknown apps.
2. Select the desired source, and then enable Allow from this source.
