Camera

Camera basics

You can use the Camera app to take photos and record videos.
Tap
to choose a camera mode.
Tap
to take a photo.
Tap
to record a video.
Tap the photo or video thumbnail to view the photo or video in the Gallery app. For more
information, see Gallery.
Tap
to use HDR (High Dynamic Range).
Tap
to switch between flash modes.
Tap
to switch between the front-facing camera and the rear-facing camera.
Tap
to configure the other camera settings.
Using the dual front-facing cameras
Your phone has dual front-facing cameras. When you switch to the front-facing camera, you can take
photos in the Single CAM mode (Figure 3: Single CAM Mode) or in the Dual CAM mode (Figure 4:
Dual CAM Mode). You can apply special effects including Blur and Cut out to the photos taken in the
Dual CAM mode later in the Gallery app. For details, see Gallery.
