Requirements:
Introduction
This simply aux adapter allows users to connect and play any audio device with a
3.5mm jack to select 1998-05 Honda and Acura CD changer controlling radios.
Simply connect the adapter to the 14-pin CD changer port on the back of the
radio and audio device to the 3.5mm jack and enjoy stored content or music
from the internet if using Smartphone. The HON98-AUX replaces factory
external CD Changer or Slave CD player.
Warning:
Honda 6-disc CD changer radios are not compatible.
Installation
Remove factory radio from the dash to gain access to the connector.

but may be available upon request)
Disconnect any factory accessory connected to the 14-pin radio

Note to Vehicles with Slave Cassette: If vehicle has slave cassette,
the
HON98-AUX connects to the Slave cassette (not the radio)

Connect 14-pin plug (See Fig. 1) from HON98-AUX to radio or slave

Connect one end of supplied 3.5mm audio cable (See Fig. 3) to adapter

jack (See Fig. 4), route other end to the front of the dash or wherever
audio device will reside (within 3 ft.)
