Requirements:
CD changer controlling radios (SC, CT, CR)
Introduction:
This simple aux adapter allows users to connect and play any audio device via a
3.5mm jack in select 1984-01 Volvo CD changer controlling radios. Connects to
the 8-pin CD changer socket on radio which guarantees the best quality playback
on the car speakers. Keep the factory radio and enjoy music content stored on
audio device or from internet connected devices. The VOL-AUX replaces factory
CD changer (if present) and is the accessory you want to update vintage Volvo
OEM radios.
Installation:
Requires pulling radio from dashboard.
Although not critical, we recommend disconnecting the car battery.
Keep in mind that most Volvo radios are coded and will not operate
without the code. Radio code must be available for radio to operate
upon reconnection. The following guide is based on Volvo "SC" radio.
To remove press to release ring tabs at the bottom Left/Right of radio

Connect adapter 8-pin plug (See Fig. 3) to CD changer socket on radio
