- How to change the trimmer line
Changing the trimmer line is a simple operation. Be sure you use a quality trimmer line, otherwise your line will break often
and create unnecessary hassles. We recommend you use our MAXI-LINE - a high resistant line which not only increases the
effectiveness of the brush cutter head but also eliminates any chance of the line getting stuck together.
1 Unscrew the bottom part of the
head using the apposite wrench
4 Reel the same lines in the middle of
the spool and wind
7 When finished rolling up the line, place the
line in the retainer slits to keep it from unra-
velling (its recommended to leave at least
4 inches of line to ease step number 8)
- If the line doesn't come out
This can be caused by any of the following reasons.
• Has the line been wound up correctly, without crossing over (fig. 6)?
• Once the outer reel was replaced, did you pull and remove the lines from the retainer slits (fig. 9)?
• Is the trimmer line used of poor quality?
• Is it blocked because the knob is dirty?
Remember that proper maintenance and an occasional cleaning of this tool will not only prolong its' life but also prevent product failure.
