Rafter Assembly Instructions
ATTENTION: The pre-punched purlin mounting holes in the short rafter
section are not spaced evenly. Before assembly, measure from the end
of the short rafter section to the set of pre-punched purlin mounting
holes that is 39-7/16" (more or less) from the end. Position that section
of the short rafter toward and connect it to the chevron, which will be at
the top of the assembled rafter.
Repeat this procedure for all rafter assemblies to ensure that the purlin
mounting holes remain aligned throughout the length of the frame. If the
purlin holes do not align during the frame assembly, verify that all rafters
are assembled as shown on this page and throughout this manual.
Consult the diagrams below and all rafter diagrams throughout this
manual before you assemble the rafter.

ATTENTION: During the rafter assembly, verify
that you have positioned the long end of the short
rafter section—approximately 39-7/16" from the
end of the section to the purlin mounting holes—
toward the peak of the assembly.
