Saving a Template

This saves the template that has been edited.

The template is saved in the folder shown below.

For the DS-ID400

<folder specified as storage location>\DNP\DSID400\

IDPhoto\none\<paper size>\

Template files (INI format) and thumbnail images (BMP

format) are saved to this folder.

Notes

• Templates that have overlapping areas cannot be saved.

• If the target location has no free space, the template

cannot be saved.

To save and overwrite templates

Click the

(Save) button on the toolbar or select

[Save] from the [File] menu.

To save templates under different names

Select [Save as] from the [File] menu.

The [Save as] dialogue box appears.

Enter the file name using alphanumeric characters in

[Template name].

Note

The characters ? * < > | \ : cannot be used.

Click the [Save] button.

Using Templates with Your Printer

In order to use the template files with the printer, you must

save (copy) the files onto an expansion SD card, and insert

the card into the printer.

Copy the DNP folder from the specified target folder

to an expansion SD card.

Copy the DNP folder and all of its contents to the root

of the expansion SD card.

Memo

If you specified the expansion SD card as the target

location for saving files in the [DS ID Photo Utility]

screen, you do not need to copy the files.

Insert the expansion SD card into the printer.

Select the created template on the printer.

For further instructions, refer to the user's manual that

came with your printer.
