Assembly and Disassembly of Food Tank
Disassembly
1.
Remove the lid (see 12, Putting/Adding food to the Food Hopper), turn the unit
over and carefully empty out any debris or food particles that may be inside.
Do not slap or shake the feeder when emptying it as it may get damaged.
2.
Carefully pull out the plastic retainer-pin inside the hopper (at the bottom,
near the hole where the food drops out of). This pin stops the food hopper
from rotating and keeps it locked in place.
3.
With the retainer-pin removed, turn the hopper clockwise until it stops. You
can now lift it off the base.
Follow the Care and Cleaning instructions mentioned above to clean it
properly.
Assembly
1.
Before you reassemble your feeder, always make sure that the locking slots
on the base are clean and free of food debris or particles that may obstruct it's
reassembly.
2.
Before you insert the hopper back onto it's base, make sure you align the
locking-lugs with correct slots on the base as they are uniquely matched.
The food hopper is designed to fit in ONE WAY only.
3.
Turn the hopper counter-clockwise until it can go no further. It should now be
securely locked into the base.
4.
Locate the hole where the retainer-pin goes and re-insert it all the way.
This will stop the hopper from rotating when you put the lid back on.
5.
Finally, replace the lid . Refer to 12, Putting/Adding food to the Food Hopper if
you have any problems removing or replacing the lid.
