• Always keep open flame and lit cigarettes away from bedding and accessories. Bedding may burn rapidly with toxic
gas and thick smoke.
• Do not use this product if it is wet, or in or around water or any liquid.
• Do not use this product if the hand wand is damaged or wet. Do not use this product if the hand wand has been
dropped in water or any liquid.
• This product has many moving parts, serious injury can occur if not used properly. Keep children and pets away from
under the platform. Keep hands, fingers and body parts away from the mechanism.
• Do not let children play on or near the power foundation when in use. Serious injury or death could occur if a child
is under the power foundation panels when they are moved.
• To reduce the risk of fire, the power transformer and electrical cords must be placed away from fabrics and
other furniture.
• Keep power transformer and electrical cords away from heat sources.
• Do not use this product if it is damaged. Never operate this product with a damaged power transformer, electrical cord,
plug, connector, or hand wand. Do not use attachments or substitute components.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or service the motors, transformer or control wand. No serviceable parts are inside.
ELECTRICAL CORDS CAN BE HAZARDOUS
• Misuse can result in FIRE or DEATH by ELECTRICAL SHOCK.
• Read all Safety Instructions carefully prior to use and follow all directions.
IMPORTANT:
Remove the power transformer from its secured location within the foundation
prior to use. To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not operate the power
foundation with the power transformer or electrical cord underneath the platform or
foundation or near other furniture.
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, serious injury or death:
• During setup provide a clear path for the operation of the power foundation back and foot platforms. Place tables,
head boards, foot boards and side rails at a distance to allow the platforms to move without rubbing or interference.
• Use care when moving the product. Before moving the foundation remove the platforms from the base. Use care
and move the base with the platforms removed. Reattach platforms to the base.
• Only the occupant(s) should operate this product. Never attempt to open the foundation by lifting the platforms.
• The power bed foundation is designed for single and double occupancy with total weight not to exceed 600 pounds.
• To prevent a hazard when entering and exiting the bed, make sure the foundation is in its home (flat) position. Move
the platforms into or out of the reclining positions slowly making sure that no children or pets are in close proximity.
• Do not stand, sit or place extra weight on the platforms when they are in the elevated position.
• Closely supervise children and disabled persons using this product.
• The product is intended for indoor residential use only.
• Check the condition of the power transformer, electrical cord, plug and connectors regularly.
• This product is not intended for use as a health care device.
• Users of medical devices should contact their health care provider before using this product.
• Do not use this product where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
