FAULT GUIDE

Possible Cause
No power to player
Function switch set to CD
Poor signal
Poor signal
Dirty or damaged discs.
Dirty Laser lens
Batteries exhausted.
Objects in path of Infra red
signal.

Remedy
Check the power plug is in
firmly and connected to a
power supply.
Switch to Radio or place a disc
into the player
Rotate the case of the radio as
the internal aerial is
directional. The wire arerial is
not used on AM
Extend the wire aerial
Carefully clean the disc and
place in the player label side
up.
Carefully clean the laser lens
with a cotton bud.
Replace batteries.
Clear I/R path
