Turn the drum unit lock
counterclockwise as far as it will go.
Remove the cover attached to the drum
insertion slot.
The removed cover is not used later on.
Remove the drum unit from its protective
bag.
D onottouchorexposethecylindrical,blue-greenpartto
lightforalongtime,astheprintqualitymaydeteriorate.
D onotexposethedrumunittodirectsunlightorstrong
light.
C ondensation(waterdropletsontheinsideoroutside)
mayformonthedrumunitwhenitisbroughtintoan
environmentwithasuddenchangeintemperatureor
humidity.
Whenmovinganewdrumunittoalocationwithchange
intemperature,leavethedrumunitintheprotectivebag
atthenewlocationfortwoormorehourstoallowitto
adjusttothenewtemperature.
