5. Troubleshooting
Problem
Does not turn on when power
button is pressed.
LED ramps up/down at
power-up.
LED flashes at power-up.
Need to restore factory
settings
If you cannot resolve a problem with your Scout Remote, please contact us at
[email protected]. We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied!
Cause
Batteries not installed.
Battery discharged.
Battery polarity incorrect.
Not paired.
Camera box not turned on.
You just want to start over!

Solution
Install batteries.
Attach battery to charger and re-
install.
Check battery polarity.
See section "2.11" for details.
See section "2.12" for details.
With the Remote turned off, press
and hold the "mode" button until
you see the red LED flash. Release
the mode button.
