Creative Filters

Four built-in Creative Filters allow
photographers to apply effects to RAW
and JPEG images after they've been
shot. Choose from Soft Focus, Grainy
Black & White, Toy Camera, and Miniature
effect. Multiple Creative Filter settings can
be combined to create new effects, and
each setting can be fine tuned before
saving a new file.

Subject-based basic shooting modes pick
a combination of aperture, shutter speed
and focus mode appropriate to the subject
matter being shot. Choose from Creative
Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Close-up,
Sports and Night portrait.

The EOS 60D's new Basic+ technology now
allows these shooting modes to be fine-tuned,
enabling a photographer to capture the
atmosphere and ambience of an occasion,
without sacrificing ease of operability.
Shooting modes can be customised by
