3 Introduction

This specification describes a serial interface protocol for isochronous, fast and safe exporting of sensor data

and simultaneous accessing of the slave registers.

In the point-to-point configuration, only one device with one slave (sensor) is operated on the master. The

BiSS interface is hardware-compatible to the SSI interface in the point-to-point configuration and only

requires two unidirectional differential lines.
