OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The amplifier is usually worn on the front of the waist, much
like a "waist pack" . The woven nylon waist band is adjusta-
ble to 44 inches. Remember to wear the Belt Blaster so the
speaker grill faces out away from the body to avoid feed-
back.
1.
With the amplifier turned OFF, insert the 3.5mm lapel/
headset microphone plug into the jack on top of the
amplifier.
2.
Put the amplifier on your waist, adjust the attached belt
to fit, then clip the buckle. Please take note of the path
of the nylon belt through the clips. In the event that the
belt is disassembled, it is imperative that the belt be
correctly reinstalled.
3.
Turn the amplifier ON by turning the volume control
knob to the 11 o'clock position while speaking at a con-
sistent volume level.
4.
When you perceive your voice is loud enough, reduce
the volume slightly. This is done because you are
standing behind the speaker and your voice is consider-
ably louder then you perceive.
USB THUMB DRIVE
1.
Insert USB Thumb Drive into the USB Slot on top of
amplifier.
2.
Press ON/OFF/Play button to turn on the USB. USB
power LED will light up and flash. Press button again to
play first recorded item.
3.
Press
to advance to next song/message or hold for 2
seconds to fast forward.
4.
Press
to go back to last song/message or hold for 2
seconds to fast backwards.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
POPPING OR CRACKLING NOISE
Popping or crackling noises coming from the speaker of your Belt Blaster, particularly when the microphone cable is moved, are
usually caused by dirt, finger oils or corrosion build-up on the microphone plug.
Remove the plug and clean the metal tip and sleeve with a clean cloth or cotton swab moistened with alcohol, or with a pre-
moistened towelette (Wet Wipe or similar). If none of these are available, use a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. While not as
effective, this should still improve the contact.
