• Sudscancause thedishwasherto overflow.Measurethe detergent
carefullyand useonly detergentsdesignedfor use in a dishwasher.
Lessdetergentis neededin softwater.Try anotherbrand of detergent
if sudsingcontinues.(pg.15)
• Followdirectionscloselyon howto adda forgottenitem (pg.9).
• Toavoidrinseaid leakingfrom the dispenser, b e surethe lid is
securelyattached.
•All activedisplayindicators flash if the dooris openedduringa running
cycleor delay.
• Thecurrentlyselectedcycleflashesif an attemptis madeto change
thecycleafter cycle"lock-in".
• The lockedindicatorflashesif a pad is pressedwhilethe childlock is
enabled.(pg.20)
• SelectHi Tempoption.
• Checkwatertemperature. I ncoming water shouldbe 120 ° F (49 ° C).
•Alwaysusea rinseaid.
• Confirmthat the cloudinessis removable by soakingthe item in white
vinegarfor approximately 5 minutes. If removed,the problemis due
to hardwater. Adjust detergentamountbeing usedto matchwater
hardness(pg. 15).Be suredetergentisfresh,stored properlyand is a
high qualitybrand.
• If cloudinessis not removable,it is etching.This is an erosionof the
surfaceof the glasswareand can be causedbywater that is too
hot, from usingtoomuch detergent o r by prewashing.Detergent
needsfood soilto act upon.If etchinghas occurred,the glassware
is permanently damaged. To preventfurtheretching,adjustthe
detergentamountto matchthe water hardness, s top prewashing, a nd
usewater heatingoptionsonlywhenincomingwatertemperatureis
below120° F (49° C).
