INSTALLING YOUR EXPANDABLE GATE:

STEP 1: Start by placing your expandable gate in the opening that you

are closing oﬀ. The opening can be no smaller than 26" (66cm)

and no larger than 42" (106cm) wide.

ATTENTION: If the opening you choose has molding near the ﬂoor, be

sure to move the gate up above the molding so that the

gate is installed on a vertically even surface.

STEP 2: With one hand on each side of the gate, simply pull each end of

the gate away from the center to expand it outward.

NOTE-

When expanding the gate outward or when compressing the gate

inward, remember to always grab the outside frame of the gate,

NOT the inner round bars!
